Film Financing

Film Financing

Independent film financing is an incredibly complex and byzantine financial process that is often constructed from a tapestry of pre-sales, equity and public subsidies and beneficial tax regimes.

Between 1998 and 2003 we successfully raised over £18 million of tax-driven investment, through Enterprise Investment Scheme structured companies (EIS), Sale and Leaseback and Section 48 Production Partnerships.

We have extensive experience in structuring indpendent film financing attaching private equity, sponsorship and negotiating with sales agents and distributors to ensure that we can greenlight a film and in early 2000 we also secured the first and only private investment and co-production slate deal with BBC Films.

We are now involved in raising investment funds both in Europe and in North America, for film, television and new media enterprises and have just raised an initial £300,000 development fund for Third Bar Films Limited to develop military and historical projects.

103 Degrees West offers an innovative approach to fully financing feature films between $5m and $15m in the USA. Click Here for more details.
